Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum

View the home of Pius Schamburger as it looked in 1895 when his grandson, George Ruth, Jr., was born there. The Birthplace features treasures from Ruth's days at St. Mary's Industrial School for Boys, including his hymnal and bat, the scorebook from his first professional game and items from his father's saloons in addition to other Maryland sports memorabilia.

Constructed in 1811, Carroll Mansion has functioned as residence to Charles Carroll of Carrollton, last living signer of the Declaration of Independence, a saloon, tenement apartments, a sweatshop, vocational school, recreational center, and historic site.
