Visit the 1793 home of Mary Pickersgill, where she made the 30x42 Star-Spangled Banner that flew over Fort McHenry and inspired Francis Scott Key to write the words that would later become our national anthem.
Hours of Operation
Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Self-Guided Audio Tours are offered at any time 10:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
Docent Lead Tours (better for families with small children) are offered at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:15 p.m. on Saturdays.
Allow 30-40 minutes for both the Self-Guided and Docent Led Tours.
Visitors may view a 10 minute orientation film in the Hofmeister Building.
